Hmm just came back from class camp at Pulau Ubin. Went there on Monday morning and by the time we finished lunch and stuff, started to walk towards the campsite. The campsite is kind of far, it is like on the far north end of the island when the jetty is on the far south end of the island. Thus the super long walk. Then it started drizzling in the middle of the walk, luckily it only started pouring when we reached the campsite and settled in. yay :D
Had kayaking when the rain stopped. Basically linking 3 kayaks together is not easy.
Design 1: The train/dragon. It basically screwed up cause the 3 kayaks can't keep a straight line and the direction was completely screwed.
Design 2: 1 leader boat and 2 following boats. Also screwed up cause the 2 boats are much faster than the leader boat, so keep on banging the front boat. Failure too.
Design 3: 2 leader boats and 1 following boat. This one worked quite well and finally could travel in a straight line.
Standing up and playing stupid games and getting into the water is really fun. Haha :D
Went to cook dinner and the noodles kind of tasted funny cause the pot was too full and thus could not stir the stuff inside properly. So some of the noodles were super salty and some were super bland. Oops.
Night hike next. Damn eerie to walk in the forest without lights and the insects making a lot a lot of noise. But super memorable experience, and the stars in the sky were amazing, could see constellations. Super nice.
Stayed up till late at night playing games and bonding. Can't say much or i would have to kill you.
Woke up a lot of times in the night due to rain/bumpy ground/aching body etc. Entered this forested area with super commando mosquitos that are not afraid of movement nor insect repellant. Walked through the area blindfolded. Nothing much to say except that banging and dropping into random pot holes is not fun at all.
Packed up and headed to Changi Village for a proper lunch (times 2, due to 2 servings). It started raining heavily while walking back to the jetty. Thus was super wet by the time I boarded the boat, cause I didn't use an umbrella or a poncho. Then went back to school.... I still do not get those stupid black magic games, the MRT game, and the photograph game.... Argh my brain is so fried from those.....
But overall, class camp was awesome! Much better than OBS in a sense that we have more free time to ourselves to talk and stuff, and not be overloaded with stuff. Can bond better with classmates, and of course not so tiring so we do not die off at night. :D Enjoyed it! XD
